Bought her new in October '96. I have big plans for her but she's bone stock except for the exhaust. Everywhere I go with her turns heads but that's to be expected given the caliber of a truck like this! You know what they say, "It's the heartbreak of today's Chevrolet!" |

OWNER OF A 1996 INDY PACE TRUCK
PURCHASED OCT 31 1997 WITH 9000 KM. FROM BROWNS PLYMOUTH CHRYSLER IN
WESTLOCK A.B. CANADA.
ONLY MODIFICATIONS TO TRUCK IS A K-N AIR FILTER, THANKS TO MY WIFE,
SHE KNOWS WHAT KIND CHRISTMAS GIFTS I LIKE.
THE TRUCK HAS AN INTERESTING BACKGROUND. IT WAS ORIGIONALLY ORDERED
BY THE LIONS CLUB OF YELLOWKNIFE (N.W.T. CANADA) AS A RAFFLE PRIZE.
THE TRUCK WAS NOT AWARDED TO ANY ONE. I DONT THINK ENOUGH TICKETS
WERE SOLD OR THE RAFFLE WAS CANCELLED. THIS IS UNCONFIRMED. SO THE
TRUCK WAS PURCHASED BY G. YOUNG FROM WHITE BEAR CHRYSLER YELLOWKNIFE N.W.T. G.Y OWNED THE TRUCK A VERRY SHORT PERIOD AS SHORT BOX TRUCKS WITH WIDE TIRES DON'T FARE WELL WITH WINTER WEATHER AND A LACK OF
PAVED ROADS WAY UP THERE. G.Y. TRADED THIS BLEW JEWEL IN FOR A DIESEL 4 X 4 . THE TRUCK SAT ASLEEP UNTILL PURCHASED BY DAN AND ALLIE , A
WHOLE SALE CAR DEALER FROM EDMONTON A.B. SO THE TRUCK WAS LOADED UP
AND SENT SOUTH 1500 KM TO EDMONTON WHERE IT AWOKE FROM IT'S COLD SLEEP
TO A MUCH MORE SUITABLE ENVIRONMENT FOR CRUISING, "PAVED ROADS". AND
A WINTER THATS NOT SIX MONTHS LONG.
NEEDING A GOOD HOME DAN AND ALLIE APPROCHED DWIGHT BROWN OF
BROWNS PLYMOUTH CHRYSLER IN WESTLOCK. HE PURCHACED THE TRUCK FROM THE
TWO AND BROUGHT IT BACK TO WESTLOCK. THIS WAS THE SECOND INDY TRUCK
THE DEALER SHIP HAD SEEN. THE FIRST BEING A NEW UNIT.
TO DATE THERE IS 17000 KM. ONLY 1 TANK OF FUEL HAS BEEN USED THIS
YEAR. SO THERE IT IS SITTING IN THE GARAGE UNDER COVER AND KEPT COZY
WARM UNTILL NEXT YEAR. NO PLANS OF MODIFYING TRUCK, JUST SOME DRAG RACEING AND SUMMER CRUISING WIHT THE CD PLAYER TURNED LOUD, AND A FEW
LOCAL CAR SHOWS FOR SOME MORE BLUE RIBBONS FOR THE BLUE JEWEL. |

I own an Indy Ram. I purchased my Indy Ram new on July 5, 1996 in Lethbridge, Alberta. Modifications done are: Blue spray in box liner and Flip-up box cover (Painted blue with white stripes). It has 49000 km (30000 mi) on it. It's a great truck and I'm still amazed at the looks I get when cruising.

I've added a FIPK and a Mopar high performance computer. I also have
a set of underdrive pulleys that I haven't installed yet. The truck's
best 1/4 mile time so far is 15.75. My goal (once I get the cash) is
to turn my Indy into a 13-second truck. |

I just bought my 96 Dodge Indy on Tuesday the 16 of January, and I already love it. It's completely stock except for the new chip that the previous owner put in. It has only 21000kms or 12000 miles. I would love to add more and maybe lower it as well, but am afraid of it losing value. Its nice to know that there are other people out there that love the truck as much as I do, and that there are a number of websites dedicated to it. It always turns heads everywhere I go. I love it. Keep up the good work on the site. If anybody is ever going to be in the VIctoria area, don't hesitate to email and we could get together.

I purchased my Indy Ram in late October of 1997. I am the
first owner due to the fact that the owner of the dealership drove it around
for about a year, before I picked it up.
A bonus for me was that the dealership installed the Magnum R/T package,
which included the MP high performance chip, MP headers, HP camshaft, and
K&N air filter. They had also modified the exhaust. I never had the chrome
exhaust tip that all the other Indy's had, but rather a 4 inch pipe that
looked like it was off a 4x4. It produces a great exhaust tone, much
deeper, and throatier compared to the other Indy's I've heard.
The truck was also sold wearing Canadian flags on the sides, but I had
decided to put the original American flags back on.
I love the fact that that this truck is six years old now, and it still
turns heads, and get the occasional thumbs up. |

I own a 96 Indy Ram. So far i have put on a set of low profile Firestones and i have taken off my muffler and the catalitic converter. With that i have inserted a free flow catalitic and dtook it apart and drilled small holes in the center of it so that you can get that Nascar sound coming from it. I tested the sound from it and you ca here it from 5-6 blocks away no problem. Next is to supercharge it very soon.. |

Bought my Indy Ram in september of 97. Since then I've replaced
the stock air box with a K&N Filter Charger high flow air filter. Lowered the
trucks suspention 4" thanks to Chisholm suspention parts for the front and
a Bell Tech flip kit in the rear. To complete the already sleek look of the truck
I had a fiberglass cover installed with the white stripes which I also had extended down the front and rear. I have now installed the newest mopar computer in my ram. |

My Indy truck lives way up in the north so a command start and undercoating were the first accesories to go on it. Next it was a whole new set of rims and tires to grip the snow. Other than that, it has a soft tonneau cover, rainguards, headlight covers, a C.B radio, an alarm system, a sliding rear window, all season pant protecting floor mats, mopar mud flaps, Indy decals, DODGE visor decal and racing decal in back rear window and last but not least, the rear bumper is painted to match the truck. |
